Disable GUI?

Sorry for what might be a newbie question...

I see a "Disable GUI" option for the server, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I want to have xlobby run "invisibly" on the server, but I want to have the GUI on my PPC. Is this check box the way to make that happen and, if so, any ideas why it doens't appear to do anything and why the next time I run xlobby the box is unchecked again.

I'm pretty sure that is what the option is for... you may want to post this in the bugs section..
