Yeppers, but not in the menu.

Cntrl+X to cut
Cntrl+C to copy
Cntrl+Z to paste

Same as any program

Hold shift and drag from the upper left to multiselect buttons.

Also you can add new buttons to a screen by going to screen tab and adding a button, (select your power button).

Thanks for the speedy reply.

I'm lost. I know about the basic C&P but I think I need this is a step by step.

Go to the radio page...
Open skin editor...
select button tab...
select button to copy...
Cntrl+C...

Now what ?

Or am I way off.

#1 Go to the radio page... = Yes
#2 Open skin editor... =Yes
#3 select button tab... = maybe (not necessarily)
#4 select button to copy... =maybe. you dont select the button from the skin editor, you select it in the skin itself. once its selected or multiselected you can copy or cut

Cntrl+C... =Yes

#5 Now what ?
Then you paste this button(s) on the same screen if you want duplicates (they will be stacked in the exact location) or you can goto another page in the skin and paste (Cntrl+V) them there.

Thanks Colby,

Worked like a champ.
I'm trying to barrel through this with out learning it all so I can get it working.
I hope in one of the newer releases the skin editor will have a "undo" feature.
It will make playing a little easier. I do a dir BU before playing.

Thanks again...

Cntrl+Z = undo
Cntrl+S = Save

undo undoes everything after last save or exit of skin editor. So if I opened skin editor and moved something around, then resized something else undo would undo both, returning XL to the last saved state (that when you opened the skin editor). If you open skin editor and move a button then save (cntrl+S) then resize something else and hit undo, the resize would restore, but the move would be saved.

Also if you exit the skin editor at anytime it saves your skin state.

Thanks Colby. It's comming together well. I have a friend that I'm trying to get into Xlobby. He is just starting out in the AV equipment but he a Wiz kid in the programing department.

He's made an offer to work on a plugin for my Yamaha RX-9Z for tway communication. I think if this happens the having a plugin for a hi-end receiver will do Xlobby good.

There are a lot of functions that can't be done without RS232 commands.

Well lets see what happens...

Thanks again
