Visualisation - Help please

I have tried really hard to get a visualisation to work when playing music. I have read all the posts, downloaded all the plug-ins that are mentioned – but have still failed.

I have managed to get MilkDrop running – using winamp as the audio player – using a “start” vis. button. But when I stop MilkDrop, while a song is playing, winamp comes to the foreground with the vis. window also. OK, if I then click anywhere on the XL window, they will disappear to the background.

Please, please could there be a step by step guide for this – I don’t mind using foobar, Xmovewindow in fact anything that will make it work.

I agree, I havent dove into xmovewindow and milkdrop visualiztion via winamp, but it is a feature I want to add for sure.

i made a tutorial in english (excuse my poor englsh ! ) but it's only with foobar2000 ! i don't use winamp so i never try with winamp ...

Un petit problème
I reboot XLobby -> go to music page -> select a track
The visualization starts on its own as soon as the track starts to play.
Becuase it starts on its own the normal option of "enter" to stop does not work.

the order i send is like a toggle : i send the order to display milkdrop and the same order will hide mildrop so : before running xl, launch foobar2000 and got to Components / Visualization / BACON (uncheck it)
Quit foobar2000 and run xl ! i have no problem with milkdrop
