in the old versions of xlobby i used to be able to watch a random dolby trailer before the film but i cant get it to work with the new versions, is it someting i am doing or can you not do it anymore with the new versions?

Check out PreMovie manager (do a search here or over on the TT forums for a link). It's a great piece of software that is MUCH more advanced than just standard trailers.

howie & PiDD,
I believe that the random trailer feature that's built in to Xlobby has been broken for some time now (possibly back to v39). The only way that I know of is to take skicrave's advice & use PreMovie Manager. There is another thread currently running on how to set that up, so check it out if you're interested in going that route.

I didnt forget about this, it will be in the next major release. But if you think you can figure it out on your on with the exp release you can try.
