XLTV 2.1b Hauppauge PVR - Mytheatre support added

Hello,
for those who have a hauppauge card compatible with the proprietary wintv2000 application, you can test the beta of xltv.
Take a look at the doc inside for configuring the plugin and wintv2000

A new version of the progdvb module is also available

Mytheatre is also compatible now.
Just add the channels in one of the MT favorites and configure the plugin as usual

Hi badubo, are you still using ProgDVB or something else now ? I can't get ProgDVB to work with my card even though it has a BDA driver and the latest version of ProgDVB is supposed to support BDA driver compatible cards. Have you had any experience with getting non-standard DVB-T (with BDA drivers) cards to work ?

I use Progdvb with my Nexus (DVB-S) so, without the bda driver

excelent plugin thank you. I was just wondering if I could use it with two cards a DVB C and a DVB S both using progdvb or mytheatre.

Yes, you can use independantly two cards as soon as they use two applications.
For,mytheatre, I'm working on a wrapper for it

First attempt of Mytheatre integration is here :

You have to put the channels you want to import in xltv in the favorites of MT and then import them in xltvconfig.
All other settings are the same as the other applications

Badubo, Many thanks for developing the XLobby compatibility with MyTheatre.

I just downloaded the latest version and installed as per the instruction.

I can see MT playing in the small window using the XLTV configuration application. I also imported all my fav. channels into XLTV using the configuration. I have NOT setup my EPG yet.

However, when I start up the XL using your XLTV skin, I cannot see the MT window on the main screen that comes up. Obviously I am missing something. Can you please help

- did you save your list of MT channels? (restart xltvconfig to be sure)
- did you create a favorite? You must have at least one to use TV (at least, you can copy all channels to it). After restarting xlobby, you must see Favorites and channels in the skin
- be sure that automatic mode is enabled (general tab)
- EPG is optionnal, don't worry about this part

for information, I only tested with the 3.33 version, I don't know if older versions will work

Well, in the tuner tab I moved all the MT channels to XLTV and I think this has been saved. I have not created any Favorites within XLTV (may be that is my problem). I will check on automatic mode when I go home.

Hello all,

Im trying to get xltv to work, i followed the instruction in the word document and copied the necessary files. Im using Mytheatre with it and not progdvb. Mytheatre is configured and working good.

So i copied the files, and then used xltv configuration to configure the Tuner. I just loaded like two channels from mytheatre channels to xltv channels to test things out. Under the favorites tab i have a a favorites list created with the two channels.

So now whenever i start xlobby it would go through the initializations, and then the window would close. Its like it crashed and stopped working. (xlobby works by itself without this plugin installed). But after the crash the xlobby process is still running, i would have to "end" it myself to retry starting it.

So i deleted all the files that i copied over for xltv to work, and started all over. But that didnt help, it would still do the samething. Then i tried starting Xlobby each time i copied a file over to see what is causing it to crash. It would happen after i copied the xltv folder to the plugins folder.

Im using the "Xlobby2 Pre-Release 1 of Simplicity " release version. Mytheatre version 3.33.5

Any help would be great!

this version is too old for xltv (interfaces in the pluginsdk changed)
You must use the last version of xlobby2 (the last .NET 1.1 version)
