List of TV Capture card support?

Postby mzemina on Thu Jul 14, 2005 2:10 pm

I havn't been able to find a complete hardware requirements for XLobby. Where should I find this list? Does it have a list of supported TV Capture cards? Can we have multiple cards installed? What about dual tuner (PVR500) cards?

xlobby does not have any built in feature of watching tv so there is no requierments for tv cards.

there are a plugin.Xtv I think its called search for it.

then there is a record plugin

then in a week there will be a MediaPortal stripped down version(Only TV) that will have a plugin for xlobby so there will be 2 way communication between the 2. this if any is interested and if any have about 50-100 Mb to spare on a web server cause I need to publish the source code cause of the GNU license.

Now I understand! I see why I don't see problems I have seen in other forums for HTPC frontends - now it comes together.

Regarding the making of different HTPC systems - I (just my personal preference) would rather stick with one than try and kluge several together to make it work. Thanks for your steps however. It seems like I can't find one HTPC frontend system that has it all at the moment. But these systems are relatively young yet. It will happen - with time!

I can give you some space on the xlobby server, if you want I'll host a domain for you if your thinking of running a real domain name..but you'll have to buy the domain from godaddy or something. just email me if you want to do something like that
