what video player has good caching across a network

Hi, anyone know a video player that has buffer capabilities for playing AVI's across a network and works well with Xlobby. Zoom player usually works fine, but occasionally network slow downs over my wireless network cause slight slowdowns. I run Xlobby on a PC with a wireless card, but a load of movies are on another PC that is wired to the network. BSPlayer has these capabilities, but doesn't seem to work very nicely with Xlobby.
Anyone know anyway to add something like this to Zoomplayer, or another program that would work better....
