coverart is because there is no title, thus the directories are empty. Most likely, website change, again (we know that never happens).

Updated v6.1

Postby tswhite70 on Sat Dec 29, 2007 9:29 pm

Yeah, I did my weekly refresh this morning and noticed the problem. Movietickets.com made a small change. I've updated the code and added a fix for some IMDB changes (in the Extended section).

v6.1 12/29/2007
Steven’s Simplicity Default skin files & script:
http://home.comcast.net/~twhite644/inth ... eaters.zip
(No changes were made to the skin files, so if you already have them you can just download the script.)

InTheaters_GetMovies script only:
http://home.comcast.net/~twhite644/inth ... movies.zip

good luck,
tsw

Can't recall if it is defaulted on in the script, but did you change the coverart value to 1? Anytime you update, you have to make the changes to suit your needs. Just wondering...that's a usual booboo that I do.

Hope it helps.

yeah, I always have to copy out my old script then side-by-side compare to the new one for all the various settings, HD covers, tickets, stills, trailers, etc). You might also try deleting the in-theaters database in the databases directory and the directory completely (not the one with the script) so it can start fresh.

Ok, I checked and found many of the setting defaulted to 0. After I changed them to 1, now I'm getting coverart and trailers for most of the movies, but not all. I'll have to go back and recheck some of the settings. Thanks so much for all your help!!

any update replaces the entire file. You always have to go back and edit the script to the settings you had before. Since it's a script file, not a plugin, this is to be expected. No settings, other than the xlobby event settings that calls the script, are external to the script itself.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Thanks...

I wonder why not all the movies have cover art? Most do, so that tells me its getting it. As an example, "Alien vs Predator" does have any cover art.

I've some recent ones have that same issue. Sometimes I'll manually go to the website and pull the posters [:D]

Updated v6.2 - 01/01/2008

Postby tswhite70 on Tue Jan 01, 2008 10:24 pm

I made a some improvements (I hope!) to both the HQ coverart regex (impawards.com) and the standard movietickets.com coverart regex. Seems to be working much better. I really hadn't paid a lot of attention to them since, like cmhardwick, I just manually spider any movies that don't have coverart or don't have coverart that I like.

Sorry about always having to change the options each time I upload a new script. The plugin version will fix that when I get it released...

v6.2 01/01/2008
Steven’s Simplicity Default skin files & script:
http://home.comcast.net/~twhite644/inth ... eaters.zip
(No changes were made to the skin files, so if you already have them you can just download the script.)

InTheaters_GetMovies script only:
http://home.comcast.net/~twhite644/inth ... movies.zip

Happy New Year!

Hi,

Unless I use HQ=1 for hi-re scovers, I get NO covers. I've skimmed through the script, and from what I can tell, movietickets.com may have again changed (i.e. script is not finding low-res coverart when hi-res is not found).

While I am no expert at regex, I found that changing the match string at line 1431 fixed the problem

Additionally, while no low-res covers were being found at movietickets.com, I found that many hi-res covers are not being detected at impawards.com even though they exist... Some examples are Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, etc. I did notice that many of the movies not found contained the character ":" (colon)

Thanks!

Updated v6.3 - 01/19/2008

Postby tswhite70 on Sat Jan 19, 2008 6:10 pm

wannatheater - I ran with HQ coverart on and off this morning. With HQ=0 I got covers from movietickets.com for 42 out of 47 movies, the other 5 did not have covers on movietickets.com. With HQ=1 I again got covers for 42 out of 47 movies, 28 of those were hi-res from Impawards.com. I'll look and see if I can improve the Impawards.com code when I get a chance, but the problem has always been that the GoogleSearch crap they use is pretty bad about returning good results for me to parse...

I did find another issue in my testing related to the Extended Search section of code if GetStills was turned off. I've corrected that and added a little more error handling.

v6.3 01/19/2008
Steven’s Simplicity Default skin files & script:
http://home.comcast.net/~twhite644/inth ... eaters.zip
(No changes were made to the skin files, so if you already have them you can just download the script.)

InTheaters_GetMovies script only:
http://home.comcast.net/~twhite644/inth ... movies.zip

good luck,
