xltv-plugin

Xlobby plugin development

You can create list of channels/favorite for both tuners.

Then you select a channel you want to record, you start record. From this point you cannot change channels among the same tuner, but if you select a channel from another tuner, xltv will switch to it.

It works also with scheduled programs :
- if you are looking a channel of the same tuner as the channel beeing recorded, xltv will switch to it.
- if you are looking a channel from another tuner, xltv will start in background the other tuner, and you continue to see the same channel.

Great - it's working!

Sorry - I didn’t realize this "cross" functionality of the favourite/tuner functions before now.

baduba, I have set up K!TV for TV viewing and WinTV2000/WinTV32 for recording. However when i schedule a program WinTV2000/WinTV32 does not select the scheduled channel when it starts recording. It stays on the last (manual) selected channel.

Do you know what the problem might be?

When WinTV2000/WinTV32 records it shows a window "Slip recording". Do you know if this can be hidden?

Which version of wintv2000 do you use ?

Is the scheduler working with k!tv?

normally, xltv hide the record window.

i'm using wintv2000 .7.23045 (the latest)
BTW it startups with UI wintv32 and not wintv2000.

Schedule works fine with k!tv.

Bumping... because I'm having the same problem.
Wintv2000 only goes to the last channel selected and I can't control it through the plugin. Using latest version (4.7_23045)

Hope it can be fixed

I am trying to get the plugin to work with my setup.
I have the latest version of WinTV 2000 and the Nova DVB-T card from Hauppauge.
WinTV works fine but when I try to configure the pluggin in Xlobby on hitting "Load" I get an unhandled exception, the wintvpreview window displays a picture and sound and I can click continue to close the error message.
I do not get a list of channels and can go no further.
I tried to load ProgDVB but when I pick a channel I get a filter missing error regardless of which option eg cyberlink windvd etc and a constant beeping - I am unsure as to whether my card is supported as there seems little documentation regarding progdvb. Do I have to register filters as I did in zoomplayer with this application and if so How?
Sorry if my questions are lame but I am a novice in this and do appreciate any help
cheers

you should try Mytheatre.

I use it and my Nova-T DVB Cards work flawlessly with it.

I have a problem with ProgDVB 4.71 when i hit load, i get the tv picture in the box, but no channel list.
I tested with ProgDVB 4.56 , this worked ok bud i got a very shaky tv picture, ( no good bda driver suport, i think).
Also ProgDVB 4.62 i tested bud then i got no tv picture in box, i got the channel list and a unhandled exeption.

Is there anybody who uses ProgDVB 4.71 with the xltv plugin, and can you give me some hints how to set it up ? That wood be great, thanks.

Are you sure that you updated the dvb.dll component ?
Are you using the last xlobby2.exe?
Can you check if the "xltvDVB.dll" is correctly installed in the progdvb plugins directory
Is progdvb working alone, without xlobby?

Unfortunately, my computer with my DVB card is not working right now (I'm building a new one) so I cannot test progdvb

I have dvb.dll v.2.3.2384.39457 in XlobbyFr\plugins\xltv\tuners\ i think this is correct ?
Are you using the last xlobby2.exe?

My Xlobby2.exe version is 1.0.2403.37773
My XpluginSDK.dll version is 1.0.2378.27802
Can you check if the "xltvDVB.dll" is correctly installed in the progdvb plugins directory

Every time i run xltvconfig.exe the xltvDVB.dll v.1.0.0.1 is copied in the ProgDVB\Plugins\ directory.
Is progdvb working alone, without xlobby?

Yes
Unfortunately, my computer with my DVB card is not working right now (I'm building a new one) so I cannot test progdvb

I am glad you are taken the time to help me and maybe there are other Xl\ProgDVB users who can help.
