Help each other out

Tracie,
I'm running ZoomPlayer, so unfortunately I don't have any info on running preMovie Manager with TheaterTech - sorry...

Tracie (and anyone else interested), I've got this running with TT, and I'll be happy to post a brief summary just as soon as I get some time. If you're impatient (like me), head over to the Theatertek forums and do a search on premovie. There is a thread with a link to the myHTPC forums that details how you need to set it up (make the appropriate changes for Xlobby).

Suffice it to say you do need to have trailers in different directories, and it comes down to a different command line arguement in the preMovie configuration.

Here is the link to the thread that outlines the procedure. It should pre pretty straight forward (when used in conjunction with Baddabing's excellent write up on page 3 of this thread). You'll need to make the appropriate changes in the event manager that BB outlines in his summary.

Now if I could just figure out how to create the correct file structure for the VOB demos that I have (I can't believe I don't have any DVD's with the THX intro on them).

I've got 5 or 6 (I think) of the THX intros that I ripped from DVDs that I own. I'd be happy to get you copies of the files.

Tracie, can zip one of them and send it to my MBO account that would be awesome. My account can handle the file just fine if you can send it.

how about for offline movies?

Postby Mac on Sat Jul 17, 2004 12:35 pm

Thanks to this thread, I've got PMM to work with my "online" movies (stored on my harddrive). But when I watch an offline DVD, PMM shuts down because it can't find the path to the movie. Does anyone know of a solution?
