cannot connect with thin client

Got a wierd prob.
latest exe and default skin --> CAN connect to server with thin client
latest exe, same XL dir as above but my skin->CANNOT connect!!! (no chenges exept skin)

How can something in the skin make the xnet break. This is way over my head and I need help here. Forced to revert to freeware! XL now cause there it works with same skin and I only have a touchscreen with thin client to control the HTPC.

Is this with 2.0 Rev K and did you try going back to J?

I need to check this myself or verify any issues from Steven. Most of the time during testing we use the default skin and I am not aware of any current issues. What resolution is your skin built in and what are your settings.

Default settings for thin client.

server:192.168.1.100
screen:menu
resolution:640x480
quality:100%
zone:gym
port:8000

* WORKS with 2.0.8103.15
* tried fullscreen(800x600), tried another res, can't remember what
* I am using a pc(Win XP) with the thin client.
* Same error when using webserver instead of thin client. Only def skin works!

Ok, I figured out some more here and it's really strange

It works with all the XL releases IF I do not use my music.xml database!!!!! If I have it in the \databases it doesn't work. If I remove JUST that file, it works. How wierd is that!
So If u steven or Wes take my music.xml and put it in the \databases directory, can u see if u can reproduce the problem.

Just gotta summarize, cause this is confusing

Clean install, latest release:

* Default skin works whatever I do
* Default skin WITH my music.xml = works
* Copy my skin into clean install, only skin no plugins, no database = working
* Copy my skin into clean install, only skin no plugins, COPY database = NOT working

So its a combo of something in the skin and my music.xml! How wierd
