Sage released the Studio customization tool as well as some other API documentation. See here.

I hope this will be the key to really integrating the great PVR funtionality of Sage with the Xlobby frontend.

I just wish I were smarter about all of this.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what this will let people do, but it will be interesting to see what people come up with.

It should also let people skin Sage to match their XLobby skin, for instance you could make a Colby STV, so I think it goes both ways...

Most of my interaction with Sage is through the Sage recordings panel. That is the part I'd like replicated within XLOBBY. I am hoping the API will allow the recording list to be accessed so that it could be viewed and operated within XLOBBY so it would be available on an alternate display while video is playing on the main display. It would still be valuable to play the tv files with the sage core so that it would be marked as watched, etc. It will be interesting to see what people are able to do now.

very true, it would be nice to be able to set it up to take advantage of multi-screen functionality...i'll just have to hope some one leads the way and i can leverage a plugin

I started a thread over in the customizations forum about multi-monitor support. You can you add your comments there, maybe we can get some traction.

yeah, you don't even need to have it in Sage, because your multi-mon xlobby setup could open a multi-mon sage setup (pending someone figuring that out )

Yes, I'm hoping that maybe we could get a plugin that allows Xlobby access to the information within Sage. This would be the best for many add-ons.

Honestly though, someone asked if they could. I never really expected it so I stuck in a button. But if you're thinking of donating to me please consider Steven first for all his hard work on XLobby. Without him we wouldn't have this great program to tweak to our hearts content.

yeah, i think the three res's will be 720x480, 800x600 and 1280x720 and from there people can scale most anything, but I think I'm going to hold off on those until after this interim release, if I'm going to go through each one screen by screen I want to really be done with all the base stuff so i don't have to repeat it


on the upside, I knocked Xant CDDB lookup off the list, finally got it working beautifully! just playlist rename tonight or tommorrow morning and then I'll publish

Naylia, to inform you, one thing about ron2xlobby.
using databases built by rom2xlobby, you can use an event with the command "goto url" and for the "URL" use %categoryname>URL% ex: %n64>URL%
you will be able to display a web page with information/cheats/screenshots etc... of your game .

Hello,
i am a very new user from Xlobby. I found xlobby, because i use on my PC Sage TV 4.0. My problem is, i want to control my sage PC over WLAN with my PDA. This is direct not possible with sage and a other user tell me about xlobby. So i found this skin for sage.

But my problem is, i dont know what i must do now. I found no install txt or something else.

I have Install the newest version of xlobby. I have download your Skin form the version 1.50. And i have sage 4.0.
O.K. i install xlobby in a folder. I but your download in a other folder and extract it. I start xlobby, and Press F2. And now ?

At first i copy all of the extraction from your skin in my xlobby folder and start xlobby. It start, but only for a few Seconds and than shut down.

What must i do, that all works ? Must i have start sage at the same time in the background ?

I hope you can help me. I am from germany and i hope my english is not so bad
