Xlobby now crashes at start-up due to power failure

Postby Richard_P_Harvey on Tue Nov 15, 2005 3:10 pm

I had a short power failure today and now Xlobby crashes when I attempt to start it with the following error.

xlobby2.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Service

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0xcb8 (3256), Thread id=0x920 (2336)

Major bummer for me because this was a highly configured skin, anyway to get it running again.....? I loaded a new download of Xlobby into a new folder and it starts fine so it's not .net or anything else.

Any help here would be great....!

Nevermind got it, it's some kind of corruption of the xlobby.xml file, replaced it with a clean one and I'm back up.

I've had this too, I now automatically backup my complete xlobby folder on weekly basis to have something to fall back too.
