Thanks. This is valuable info. I THINK it mostly blows up when I forget to turn off HubGUI before I edit XL. I'll also see what device/s I may have added to HS recently. I'll also check my HS xAP config. xAP3 blew up a lot before I installed the HubGUI hub. It's been rock-solid using the hub until recently.

After a lot of testing I found that motion sensors were causing the xml file to become corrupt. Try changing your motion sensors to "red" in the Homeseer plugin.

You can open the devicemap.xml and see if there is an error. This is how I found the motion sensor images were causing my problem with the plugin disappearing upon reloading.

Bill, I just noticed your memory useage comment. I'm not seeing any extensive spiking when I xAP an event. In my case, HS2 is on one machine, XL is on another.

My HS machine (512MB) runs at around 2% and spikes to 5% on event fire. The XL machine (256MB) runs around 10% and spikes to around 18% on an event fire.

what symtons do u have for the memory leak?
I have a wierd prob that after xx hours my X10 devices doesn't work anymore.If I restart the X10 service then all is ok again(not touching Xlobby at all)

Is this the same bug???

sounds like a different problem. For me memory leak causes xLobby to use more and more computer memory until my computer is rendered useless and I have to shutdown xLobby. This happens over a period of a couple hours. If I don't load the plugin xLobby is very stable.

Ok, I just suck at this hahaha

I installed hubgui, all apears to be fine, it sees both Homeseer and Xlobby

My struggle is in getting Xlobby to fire off a homeseer event

I have an event Read CNN Headlines that I would like a button for.

I go into XLobby Setup (F2) then go to configure the XAP plugin

From there I see the list of geneic homeseer commands

Now in the target field should it read the same as my master field in the general tab?

Also in the block tab the generic is this

What should that read simply to kick off the cnn event? Would it be like this?
