I hade some time to redo my skin and i was inspired of the messenger-skin in media portal. This is a work in progress but i think its god enough to play with.
I’m working right now on the tv-plugin from Badubo and redoing some of the ppc screens. I will upload as i make progress.

I have only tried this skin with mouse and its only 1024X768 for now.

Ok, now for the downloads:

Make sure you have the latest Xlobby.exe

If you don’t want allot of bugs in the event manager start to download this:

extract this folder in C:\Program Files

Extract this in your xlobby skin folder.

The weather plugin is not yet converted to XoapWeather plugin, but i made a new icon set for it, samples here

Extract them into your \plugins\xweather\images folder.


I have not packed all the plugins like cdex and Apple Movie Trailer plugin in the skin zip so you will need some skills to change the event manager to point to your plugins.

Neither did i..., Sorry that it took so long. I feel like I’m working for another well known media app , promise one thing and release 10 month later, if ever. I haven’t forget about the hjackson-edition tough.

I like it, I can't wait 'till it's fully operational.
One request/suggestion:
Can you activate the center button. For example, when I click on "Music", the little buttons get activated (livealbum, radio ...), but it would be nice if the bigger center button could do something, so that I wouldn't have to click on "Music" again, if I wanted to switch to radio when we come back to the main screen... (i'm not sure if I was clear enough)

I think i know what you meant, allot of clicking to get where you want. But as the centre button is on an overlay it closes as you go to a new function as music. Maybe i can ad a go to button form music to radio. Even if i could make a function that brings you back to the menu music overlay you have to close it every time you want to go from music and back to say movies... (This was a little messy to , hope it make sense)

Rika, I just downloaded the Hjackson-ed skin and all I can say is wow! Not just "wow, great skin!", but "wow, how could someone who doesn't know me, do something so kind?" I know changing over the colors took a lot of work so thanks again for your efforts! I'm sure there are other blueophiles out there that will love the blue version skin as well.

Actually I’m starting to like the blue one to.
I uploaded in a rush tough; some of the buttons didn’t come out right. So hereis a small update to Hj.Ed-skin. Just extract the .rar into your xlobby skin folder. (Replace all).
If you downloading the Hj.Ed-skin in the first post (after reading this post) all the updated buttons are in the .rar
I have some more changes in mind, I will update as I make progress.

I was not satisfied whit the enter-state for some of the buttons for the Hj-ed skin so I made an update:

Now you can see the enter-state much better if you use a remote...
I also tweaked the contrast on the red buttons a bit:


You can find the update here
Just extract this into your /skin/green2 folder (replace all)
The Green2.rar in the first post is updated; this is just if you don’t want to download the whole skin again.

Just modify the image to a 320x240 if you could.

Wow Rika, this is truely a great skin. I like the feel (the little puppet is very good). Just downloaded it on my "work" pc, but will install it on my htpc soon, so I will give you some touchscreen feed back.
O, I like the green one, but the blue one is also very nice.
A small thing is if you touch the play button in the music section, you also touch the volume button which is underneath it.

As you will see I have not tired this skin with a tuchscreen, there might be some bugs...
The volume is set to 50% when you press play just to stay friendly to the neighbours
