Xlobby and TT2.0

Help each other out

Postby chadwolcott on Wed Oct 13, 2004 1:51 pm

The disable fix works because it looks at windows' file association and sees TT as the default application from what I can tell. On my machine your workaround doesn't work as it put quotes in the path in incorrect places:

/NOSPLASH /AP 2 /PATH ""\\KAAN\MOVIES\DVD\ALI\VIDEO_TS"\video_ts.ifo"

/AP 2 /PATH %playlist%\video_ts.ifo

This worked for me. I can now play DVD's from Xlobby.

Me too with TT now enabled again.

I'm having trouble with the hidef stuff though, I still cant make windows build the association with ts files etc. openwith allows me to browse to TT 2.0 but not select it.

Rhinoman,

I don't know if this can work, but can you use the same methodology with HD material and just add a new Xlobby line that launches TT differently for *.ts files...as long as you name all your HD ts files the same, I would think that would work just as well as the video_ts.ifo patch...

Hello,

I am using TT 2.0 and the xLobby Pre16. The TheaterTek Controls page no longer controls TT. What might I do to get this working once again?
Thx

I believe those controls referenced the window name "Overlay" for the sendmessage target. You will need to change it to the correct target window to get it to work.

Per the TT forums:

main window is now called 'TheaterTek DVD' using the window class 'TTWndClass'

For anyone still having problems launching movies using TT2.01 from XLobby, this worked for me:

%playlist% /nosplash /

I couldn't get the nosplash to work until I put it at the end as shown...working great!!

Perhaps I am missing something but went into F2 and reestablished the link for the DVD player as theratertek dvd 2.0, but in the database of of files I have load onto the hardrive I click on the film to play and i get asked do i want to register my old copy of theatretek even thought the new one is fully working and registered outside of xlobby.

Any clues, obviously there is a reference somewhere else to what is called up when i ask for a file, cant find it any help will do.

Look through the forum even put this as a separate thread which 16 people have viewed and no response, am i alone in this ?

I had a similar problem when I still had TT 1.5 installed, I uninstalled both and then reinstalled TT 2.0 and all is now ok.
