Looked at mainlobby, cqc. and girder. saw a post about xlobby decided to try
i've put xlobby to the test and i am very pleased.
here is my mission. Be able to run xlobby in 6 different zones.
bedrooms, kitchen, theater room and backyard. be able to stream audio(internet radio, and cd in library) video(cable and dvd collection), cams located around the house, control all lighting in each zone.
I will be using fujitsu 3400 tablet mounted in walls, have russound cav 6.6 to work with
any help will be appreciated.

Welcome rkara!

I am in the process of doing the same thing, except I will be using a Xantech pre for my multi-zone.

The one BIG issue with using xLobby in this situation is that there is no native RS-232 driver. You can however, use Girder as a go between. Check out PhilB's LCars skin for ideas. He uses a Sonance multi-zone amp. I converted his Girder GML file for my Xantech and it works perfectly.

I have yet to start work on a skin to match because I am in the midst of starting a new business. But will jump in when I can. There are others here (well everyone else here) that know way more than I about the inards of xLobby :)

Damn I thought no one ever looked at my hacked system much less reused parts. I guess I should update my website to reflect the fine tuning I have been doing.

Yes Please :D

The more I can steal, I mean reuse, the faster I can get it done.

This probably do not help anything, but ill say it just in case.

If u r using winamp, test using just winamp for shoutcast, without xlobby. If this doesnt work either, u might be having same wierd problem, i experienced, for me it fixed itself when i downloaded new version of winamp.
