Freeze at Xlobby Startup

I don't remember what I did last as I just came back from vacation, but Xlobby freezes at the loading menus now when I try to open it up. On the HeavyMetal theme, it freezes at "events" and when I delete xlobby.xml, the default theme freezes at "filetypes". Any help would be appreciated.

Very probable cause is that your XML files are not valid anymore... get XML validator and check if there is something wrong with them.

Sorry, but I don't know how to get this done. Could you point me in the right direction?
