Winamp for Movies - avi's

Anyone using Winamp for movies, either mpegs, avi (divx) ?
Movies seem to look fine but maybe it's not the best player for video?

Also, when I choose a movie in XLobby, Winamp video screen and control interface come up in front, video screen is not full screen.
Should I be putting some parameters in XLobby to make it work in the background and full screen the video ? Or perhaps that is done through the Winamp preferences?
