Absolutely Gorgeous!

I finally got into our new home and everyone is FLOORED by xlobby. I have it running on a touchscreen in the hallway. THe cabinet guys made a beautiful frame with routered edges, stained in dark cherry to match the entertainment center. This new skin is MADE for our setup!
Looking very forward to the download...

Thanks!!

I finally got xAP - xLobby - Homeseer working together and have been looking for a skin that would look great on touchpads to control the theater and the home lighting - This looks like the one - I can't wait to give it a spin!

WOW!

I'd love to see pics of your framed touch screen. Do you mind posting a couple pics of it? I've got a framed 7" lilliput touch screen but it is free standing, I'm thinking of mounting it on the wall and love to see your setup.

Thanks

Summer,
I disassembled a 15" monitor and wedged in 2 standard spaced studs in a hallway wall near the living room. On the other side is a closet in the office with the audio & video distribution, replaytv, wireless mic receiver (karaoke), cable modem, router...

The frame is attached by velcro to have a flush mount that is still removanble to access the power buttons hidden under the right edge.

Do you think you will do this one in a 16:9 format?

Was that gmail link supposed to contain a pic? It doesn't work for me.

Thanks

Update: As you might have guessed this skin is designed for touchscreen use. I personally use a dual head video card with movies and visualizations going out through a projector and xlobby on a touch screen as the secondary monitor.

Running XL in a dual monitor setup I've discovered problems in using XMoveWindow.dll - (xmovewindow.dll is used for creating windowed visualizations and movie previews that sit on top of xlobby making it look like they are integrated into the app) Besides problems with positioning windows across monitors I have also found XmoveWindow to be a bit unreliable - it doesn't always grab and size the window, not something to endear it to the significant other. So in order to provide substance and usability over flash I'm going to drop the preview function in the 'Movies' screen and the Viz window from the 'Now Playing' screen from the skin. I'll leave the screens with the xmovewindow function in the download file but it will be up to the end user to implement and support them.

Lastly, I don't have any plans to do a widescreen version.
