What type of plugin are you thinking of? TVersity is a UPnP Media server, and would normally be used as a content server for a UPnP Media Renderer (such as the DLink DSM-320 and other devices.) I could see 2 possibilities for xLobby plugins that utilize TVersity. One would be a plugin that turns xLobby into a UPnP Renderer that receives content from TVersity. The other would be a plugin that turns into a UPnP control point. This would allow you to browse the media available from the content server and push the content to the renderer. It would also allow you to control the media; playing, paused, stopped etc. If you google Cidero, you can find an example of a stand alone application that does just that. In my opinion this is the type of plugin for xlobby and tversity that I'd like to see.
Of course I wouldn't mind seeing a plugin that turns the xlobby machine itself into a UPnP Content server. But that would require a lot of work to provide the functionality that tversity provides. One of the really cool things about tversity is that it will transcode content on the fly, if it is not supported by the device that requests it.
