Refreshing the movies db from XAnt

Postby cooldog on Sun Aug 05, 2007 2:18 am

This does not seem to be working for me, even though it seems to take about the same six seconds when I hit "Refresh" in the movies screen as when XAnt originally converts at XLobby startup.

Any advice?

Paul

You can test the beta here :

http://users.skynet.be/badubo/test/Xant.dll

you have a method called "Rebuild" you must pass as argument the name of the section (as in the ini, without the [ ]) of the database you want to rebuild

Don't forget to refresh your category after that

XAnt only rebuild the database, you still have to reload it on your cat (refresh)

XAnt is indeed rebuilding the movies.xml database file.

I follow the plugin:XAntMovie:Rebuild(Movies) with category:refresh(movies), and the xml is rebuilt, I get a window with Cancel and Close buttons, and XLobby still doesn't get the new xml data loaded into memory.

What could be happening?

I found this: http://xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5015&start=15&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&view=print, but I'm not sure if it is helpful.

That doesn't do it either.

No combination of reset, refresh, set database, or even reload cover seems to work.

I need Steve's help, I think.
