Need some girder help please

Postby petrman on Sun Mar 18, 2007 6:35 am

Hi I'm mostly a lurker on these forums, I have been using xlobby for about a year and really like it. I have everything mapped to my harmony 890 except
one thing. I would like to start xlobby.exe with a remote button command I am using the usbuirt and have girder 3.3, but my girder skills seriously lack. Can anyone help me out? I would appreciate it. Thanks

petrman,

Create a command in Girder.
Name it something logical like XLobby Start.
Go to the O.S tab on the lower right panel.
Select EXECUTE from the dropdown.
In the FILE field type the path and executable re:
C:\Program Files\Xlobby\Xlobby2.exe
Then learn an event (remote IR) and that should be it.

If you start Xlobby Manually, does it go fullscreen? If so, then check the startup options dropdown in the same O.S. tab and select MAXIMIZE.

That should do it, but since Xlobby always starts maximized, you may need to set the dropdown to KEEP FOCUS. Or you may need to set Windows Taskbar to autohide. That's the way I have mine, so I don't know for certain if the other options will work.

Glad I could help. Everyone else around here is so much more knowledgable than I am with Xlobby, it's nice to be able to help once in a while :D
