I use Motorola Bluetooth stereo Audio Adaptors to send music to other area of the house. It is wireless and compact.
The Bluetooth encoding/decoding process adds around 2 seconds of delay to the audio. This delay I would like to remove because the main room audio is connected with optical (for 5.1) and does not suffer the delay so there is an overall echo effect from the other rooms.
Can I add a timing advance to the analogue outputs of a soundcard? Anyone?
