xpad and categories

Hi Wes or Steven
When or if will categories be supported in Xpad so we can choose music from a web client. Right now I see the first column of artists but not album nor tracks.

Also when will streaming music to web client be implemented. You mentioned this feature when xpad first came out.

We are working on the Category items every day so in each new bleeding release you will find improvements + added support for these items.

The audio streamming ability will be available sometime in July-August time frame.

This is a different bug to mantis 0000935.

I made a new entry to remind of this bug, it's somewhere in my notes. It's not a quick fix.

What was the mantis 0000935 then?


Why I am asking about the categories is that I want to be able to add tracks to playing queu and that seems hard to do if the "prism" is not workning. Maybe u have another way of doing this? Wanna be able to add both tracks and albums from a client (xpad)

OR any of u guys out there that use xpad for selecting music? If so what skin are u using so I can duplicate. All I wanna do is select artists OR albums OR tracks with xpad and start playing music from a client
Right now one has to goto the server and select music and that kind of defeat the purpose of the client -:(
