Getting Winampt to Work

So I installed xlobby and when I did I did not have winamp installed. I then installed winamp and added it to the programs with the file extensions of mp3 , but when I browse throug my music and hit play, nothing happens. I can not figure out how to make it start winamp. What am I missing?

Did you add a winamp zone? You have to go into setup "F2" and add an audio zone....its in the "general" section right at the top. Just click add and point to the winamp.exe file.

Great, that worked so I can play music now, but it just plays it within xlobby. Is there a way I can make it actually launch winamp so I can use the visualization? Or is there a better way to get visualization?

Create a new button and use the music:visualizaton event to start it.

winamp runs in the background (it should??)

The start viz event will start whatever viz you have set up in winamp.

Milkdrop is the easiest to use and goes full screen - I personally use acidpunk.
