Lock Entry in DB

It would be nice to have a checkbox that could 'Lock' a database entry or set it to 'Read-Only' mode.
In this way any customizations made to a particular entry would not get overwritten by global changes accidentally.

I think this is on Stevens list but in any case its a good idea and we will discuss it.
