Andy Grooby has finished his xLobby Simplicity skin and is only available to the xLobby paid users with access to the My xLobby downloads section, it can be used with xLobby versions 2 and 3. Users with access to this area please respect his work and not distribute or publish the skin on the forum. He has donated several other skins here on the xLobby website for all users to integrate into there xLobby systems free of charge. At some point and time the skin may be released to the general forum, if users want to contact Andy directly and work out details on a personal basis for his Simplicity skin, please contact him directly.

Bye Bye……. Crestron gear, hello xLobby installation. This Santa Monica beach front home is under a full A\V make over with 12 Zones of audio using two Russound CAV 6.6 units, Calrad HDTV 8 x 8 videomatrix switching for up to 8 Tv’s, 6 sources. xLobby will be in control of all the Insteon lighting, Audio Video switching, Satellite receivers, Plasma-LCD TV management, Russound multizone audio system, outdoor Infrared heating system, HVAC, Security and CCTV systems. Several xLobby touchscreens and wireless tablet devices will provide control where ever the home owner needs it. Of course xLobby is providing the backbone for Music and Movie delivery to anywhere in the house. Franco the resident A-V installer & guru for the area is directly responsible for his creative touches to this home, including a daylight viewable LCD HDTV for outdoor viewing as well as the inwall recessed cable management for all the articulating TV mounts providing a flush mount look to all the TV’s.

Paid version xLobby customer updates are available under your myxLobby section, a new xLobby V2 release and a xLobby V3 alpha release.
Some new features and fixes.
Final V2 Release rev Q (+wma tag bug) (+streaming ip radio fix, manage dvds delete/rename, vista volume mute fix, Auto Copy DVD option that gets movie titles from the IFO file and or the DVD root directory title and automatically goes directly to the ripping process with auto coverartwork population available soon for total hands free dvd ripping, other small fixes.
V3, Alt + F2Setup menu is in trasition to Alt + F5 so items are split, eventually the shortcut for Setup will be Alt + F2 again.

xLobbys new high-definition Personal Video Recorder for recording Component Video or HDMI signals (non-HDCP) directly to your SD card or to a 80G Hard Drive to allow direct HDMI (HDCP) recording to the internal hard drive. This unit will play back to any screen (HDCP) or you can transfer all your Standard Definition recordings to your PC via a PC SD card reader, to store, edit or create another video disc. xLobby can provide more then just your conventional interfaces and designs. Since xLobby V3 will have more possibilities with Home Automation, Lighting, Multi-Zone Audio the skinning of new user interfaces can now be expanded and displayed for a more visual representation of what xLobby is interfacing with.
Below is IMSI Design that sells Floor plan based software, there are other software packages available with different sets of tools and skill levels. If xLobby users know of or use other floor plan design software, please share it with us.
