You will need the K-Lite Codec Pack to play M4A files.

this is awsome, now i can finally steal my wife's itunes collection.
she always kept it away from me because i always say i hate apple, lol
now i can slip in the back door ;)

one question with an itunes library, if the library is on another machine than the server, should i copy the itunes directory to the server, or should i share the directory and have the XL server attach to the share.
what is 'best practice' for this?

Share the directory is fine. Usually under: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Music\iTunes. Remember that the xLobby player can only playback unprotected files M4A.

Luckily that's all I got :)

I just got an iPod touch and started using iTunes. I will be looking into this. Just as soon as I get my NAS all worked out. Still recovering data from that mess. very sad.
