I have the codes for the some of the Samsung HDTVs. I is a PDF file how do I send it to you?

Larry

Larry,

Are you referring to Samsung DLPs or LCDs? If DLPs, what specific models, and have you actually had any luck with them?

I tried like hell to get an HL-R7178 working, and finally gave up in disgust, as most of the serial commands simply didn't work. Idiotic things, like being able to select HDMI1, but not being able to select PC.

I have an HL-S7178 now, but I haven't even tried the serial connection again ...

They were the codes for the 1080P DLP. I have not tried them yet. The conversion is not straight forward. So I expect it will be a challenge.

Well, then they are what I already had, and I set all that up with Girder. Didn't work worth a damn.

I suppose they might have fixed their firmware between my HL-R which I tried, and it's replacement, the HL-S, so I ought to try it again.

Just out of curiosity, are there discrete power on & off codes in what you've got, or just a power toggle?

Who knows, maybe the doc I had was older and incorrect ... could you send me what you've got?
